Explanation of the project: These videos provide an overview of the project and the activities developed by the Laboratory for Social and Digital Innovation (LISD) at UVic. It explains the main objectives, the methodologies used and the expected impacts, with practical examples that highlight its relevance in social and digital innovation. It presents a key initiative of the UVic Social and Digital Innovation Lab, focused on Service-Learning (ApS). It describes how this methodology combines academic learning with community service, promoting a positive social impact while students develop practical and professional skills. Ideal for understanding the transformative potential of ApS in social and educational projects.

Digital Facilitators Network: These videos present the pilot test on the training of Community Digital Facilitators in Vic, an initiative to combat the digital divide. They explain the role of the facilitators, who help to solve technological doubts, and share testimonies of experiences of volunteers. This collaborative project began in September at the Pilarín Bayés Library, with the participation of LISD, Vic City Lab, Vic City Council, EAP Vic and Comunalitats, to promote the network of digital facilitators.

Testimonials: These two videos share experiences in educational activities related to LISD. In the first video, Ivet Leiva explains her experience as a LISD facilitator and her research on the digital habits of young people in Remei, carried out during her studies of Social Education at UVic. In the second video, Harnit Singh talks about his participation in the creation of podcasts, highlighting the knowledge acquired in recording and production. Both testimonies reflect the interest in social research and digital production.

Disconnecting Inequalities day: The following videos provide a summary of the Disconnecting Inequalities day, organized by the Ferrer y Guardia Foundation, in which Mar Beneyto, Ivet Leiva and Mohamed El Maimouni participated on behalf of LISD. The first video includes the full interventions of all participants, as well as the reflections of experts in digital rights and representatives of the third sector. The second video presents a summary of the day, with the intervention of Mar Beneyto, who highlights the importance of research on digital rights and socio-digital inclusion.

CIISE Day: This video corresponds to the session of Line 3 of the 5th International Congress on Innovation and Educational Services (CIISE 2024), focused on new technologies, ICT and education. In this session, Carlos Bosch and Mar Beneyto-Seoane present the paper entitled “Promoting socio-digital inclusion from an intersectional gender perspective”, which focuses on the need to integrate an intersectional gender perspective in socio-digital inclusion initiatives.
