The last 17 and 6th of September, BETA Technological Center attended the MineXchange conference that was organized by Natural Resources of Wales and which was held in Lampeter.
The objective of the conference was to continue facilitating development of project relationship between academia and industry, sharing knowledge and experience to innovate and commercialize opportunities recovering damaged metal mine environments.
In this context we presented the LIFE DEMINE project to share our knowledge and experience in the field of decreasing the environmental impact caused by abandoned mines on water bodies. Also, one of the project partners, ELENTEC, presented the electrocoagulation technology (included in the new treatment technology developed in the LIFE DEMINE project) to the attendees.
