Milan Meeting & Strategic Reflections

Dear Community,

In May 2025, the Happy Power consortium gathered in Milan for a key project milestone: an international meeting hosted by Università degli Studi di Milano. This in-person gathering was a valuable moment to reflect, co-design, and evaluate our progress across work packages WP2 and WP3.

Achievements Celebrated:

• Launch of the first version of the Happy Power training WebApp for students.
• Online teacher training materials through the Ubiqua platform.
• Favorable opinion from the UVic-UCC Ethics Committee confirming our educational integrity.

Open Reflections & Advisory Board SWOT

A central activity during the meeting was a qualitative roundtable about the teacher materials. This dynamic exchange surfaced deep reflections on emotions, clarity, usability and engagement. The discussion was then enriched through a formal SWOT analysis led by the Advisory Board:

• Strengths: Repeat structure aids navigation, rich and complete topics, user choice.
• Weaknesses: Unclear topic interconnections.
• Opportunities: Add guidance, define learning paths, set time estimates, share protocols.
• Threats: Information overload and lack of clarity about topic selection.

What’s Next?

Suggestions gathered will be used to enhance usability and flow in the teacher training experience. The next Advisory Board sessions are planned in parallel with the upcoming pilots.
