Eleonora Mastropietro, Associate Professor in Geography and author of documentary films. After earning her doctorate at the University of Bologna in 2009, she served as post-doc fellow, researcher, lecturer and professor at University of Milan. Since 2016 she is in charge of the course of Urban geography at the three-year degree course for Human Environment, Land and Landscape, and of a workshop on visual research techniques. Her research activity focuses on the themes of urban geography, policies and practices of redevelopment in cities, the representation of the landscape in contemporary cinema and the use of media in territorial research.
