The Final Grade Project (FGP) is a subject of 12 credits of the final year of the studies which is essential to get the Degree in any discipline. The purpose of the FGP is that students develop an academic work in order to face their future professional work applying knowledges received along their Degree studies.
The FGP can be of various types: experimental, theoretical, computational, project construction, comparative, bibliographic or any other type appropriated for their Degrees.
Students can develop their Final Grade Project:
- In the UVic research groups.
- In a company or institution outside the University.
- In the Erasmus mobility program or other international program.
The FGP can be done jointly by several students if the aim is an interdisciplinary work that covers various areas. These teams can be formed by students of the same or different Degrees. Each student of the group will be evaluated by a tribunal related to his/her studies. UVic-UCC promotes entrepreneurship linked to the Final Grade, offering specific advice through Creaccio, an entrepreneurship, innovation and knowledge agency related to UVic. Contact the Entrepreneurship Unit at the UVic-UCC for details on how to propose interdisciplinary or entrepreneurship projects.
The Final Grade Projects which are evaluated with an excellent mark are digitally published. The best Final Projects corresponding to the pre-EEHE studies are also digitally published.
