I am an ecosystem ecologist, specialized in food web and global ecology, and interested in the understanding of the response of populations, communities and ecosystems to environmental stressors, which can ultimately be used to focus conservation and management. I completed my PhD at the University of Barcelona and post-doctoral fellowships at the Center for Limnology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the Global Ecology Unit–CREAF and the Leibniz-Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries–IGB.
