October 2019

We realised two participatory focus groups on scenario analysis in Castril and Santiago- Pontones.

The local stakeholders identified key drivers and they prioritized two potential axis: 1. Climate change 2. PAC changes that facilitate sedentary livestock management vs protect transhumance.

The groups described possible scenarios and impacts and three narratives emerged:

Finally, the land is conserved

Sedentary livestock management: rural ecological settlement

The transhumance is progress: A future clear and coloured

Here you can find the results of the focus groups and a PowerPoint explaining the future scenarios.
