On November 26, the UVic-UCC Chair in Agroecology and Food Systems organized a round table on gender, feminism, and global environmental change. The meeting, at Casa Convalescència, brought together academics and activists from different parts of the world to talk about these issues from different ecofeminist perspectives. Among other topics, she reflected on the relevance of academic work on feminist political ecology for politics and public debate or on the role of ecofeminism in environmental justice. The different origins and trajectories of the international speakers contributed to the debate of multiple approaches and a great diversity of views.
