The last program of “Desconeguts, coneguts” has interviewed Xavier Rovira, coordinator of the research line in Molecular Photopharmacology at the Tissue Repair and Regeneration Laboratory (TR2Lab).

“Desconeguts, Coneguts” is the scientific program of Radio UVic dedicated to present the research done at the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia. This program aims to show students a facet of the faculty that can be distant: the researchers and members of research groups. Week after week, professors from different faculties of the UVic-UCC speak in this program about their research activities.

P.h.D. Xavier Rovira interview has focused on explaining his scientific career and also to explain his research area which focuses on the development of synthetic light-regulated drugs, which allow for the reversible activation or deactivation of specific target proteins in localized tissues with precise spatiotemporal control.
