Marta Otero, present at the Annual Meeting of the Wound Healing Society
Professor Marta Otero, who is doing a mobility at Boston University School of Medicine, has attended this April at 28th Annual Meeting of the Wound Healing Society. This annual conference bring together more than 2,000 researchers from basic and clinical research that interact with healthcare professionals to discuss the latest developments in the field of interdisciplinary research on cutaneous wound healing.
During the congress of the Wound Healing Society, which has held in Atlanta (Georgia), PhD. Otero has presented the poster: Human chronic wounds dermal fibroblasts show unexpectedly high migratory and proliferative activity in vitro. Also, she has been co-author of another paper presented at this conference: Keratin 17 is expressed in the migrating epidermis of both acute and chronic human wounds.
