Proud to create a new research line focused on Bone growth, remodeling, and repair.

Proud to create a new research line focuses on the anatomical, histological, and physico-chemical changes associated with ontogeny and disease of bone tissue.

The new research line in “Bone growth, remodeling, and repair” is directed by Dr. Xavier Jordana. Dr. Jordana is an associate professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Welfare at UVic-UCC and a member of the TR2Lab research group since 2019.

The new research area starts with the aim to understand the mechanisms of adaptation of bone tissue to aging and pathological processes to be applied in different medical fields such as forensics and biomedical sciences

For further information about the new research line, the research line coordinator will be happy to answer your questions.
