Thesis degree (TFG) experience at the Clinical Wound Unit that belongs to TR2Lab

As a new academic experience, this year the TR2Lab have incorporated 5 nursing students and 1 biotechnology student for developing their Degree Thesis (TFG) at the Clinical Wound of the Hospital Universitari de la Santa Creu that belongs to TR2Lab.

The TFG linked to a research group means that the students are enrolled in a research project meanwhile they are designing and developing their degree thesis. The aim of this initiative is to consolidate the professional skills learnt during their degree in combination

with a research experience in the context of a Clinical Wound Unit.

Besides the research project developed in their degree thesis, the students have the opportunity to participate in the TR2Lab’s dynamics. In this framework, they live the experience of presenting their results in the TR2Lab research meetings to practicing their communicating skills and discuss their results with the TR2Lab’s scientists, etc.

With the aim to promote the professional and scientific skills of our students, the TR2Lab usually organize different training activities for our students as the last training wound suture workshop led by the nurses of the TR2Lab’s (Fina Clapera, Ester Fontserè, and Helena Sureda).

We hope this TFG experiences, in the TR2Lab, will transform our students into better professionals!
