Òscar Zabaco Natali

Oscar ZaOscar Zabacobaco Natali was Associate Professor at Faculty of Science and Technology at Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya where he collaborated with TR2Lab to promote the area of “organ on a chip” during the academic year 2016/17.

Oscar Zabaco has a great expertise working in the academia and in the private sector developing research projects in the areas of ‘organ on a chip’ and ‘tissue preservation systems’. His research interest is focused on 3D printing applied to bio-devices and clinically applicable organ and tissue on a chip systems.

He holds a Master in Photonics from UPC/UAB/UB/ICFO (2015), a Master in Molecular Biotechnology form Universitat de Barcelona (2012), a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (2011), a Degree in Electronics from Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona (2007), a Master in plastic materials and components engineering from Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (2005), and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Universitat de Vic (2004).

After leaving TR2Lab, PhD. Zabaco is now a senior researcher at Francis Crick Institute in London. More information
