Professor and Director of the Department of Basic and Methodological Sciences at University of Vic-Central University Catalonia.
Dr. Obradors began her research career in the laboratory of Dr. Joan Aguilar where she obtained her doctorate working on bacterial metabolism. She did a postdoctoral stay (2 years) in the laboratory of Dr. Solà where she developed research in the field of biotechnology, particularly in the production of “fine chemicals”. Afterwards she returned to Dr. Joan Aguilar’s research group where she specialized in bacterial genetics. By joining UVic, she reoriented his career to nutrition, food and drug-nutrient interactions. Currently their objectives focus on studying the relationship between the processes of tissue repair-regeneration and nutrition through the development of projects focused on the assessment of nutritional status, food intake and drug-nutrient interactions and their relationship with the process of wound healing
