Attending physician at the Emergency Service of the University Hospital de Vic (HUV).

Redondo did her thesis project on the doctoral program of comprehensive care and health services at University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia. Her doctoral project is focused on studying Trabecular Bone Score in postmenopausal women of the FRODOS cohort, under the supervision of Ph.D. MD. Kanterewicz.

Ms. Laura Redondo has a degree in Nursing from University of Barcelona  and a degree in Medicine and Surgery at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili. In addition, she trained as a specialist in Internal Medicine (2009 -2014) at University Hospital of Vic.

The nurses and physicians of TR2Lab are doing a great effort in the Hospital Universitari de la Santa Creu de Vic, in the Hospital Universitari de Vic, in the Hospital d’Olot i Comarcal de la Garrotxa. Also, some of them are involved in the Coronavirus study led by the Oriol Mitjà at the Germans Trias i Pujol hospital in Badalona. Laura Redondo Parejo was awarded with a prize-grant to suport the development of his doctoral thesis about Trabecular Bone Score and osteoporosis

GRANT. Project information. Last Friday, within the annual meeting of the Col·legi de Metges de Barcelona - Delegació Osona, Laura Redondo, TR2Lab Ph.D. student, was awarded the Grant "Beca Consultori Bayés", instituted to support her doctoral thesis project. This project focused on defining the features of Trabecular Bone Score, a new technique applied to the bone mineral density scans that is aimed to improve the quantitative results by providing a qualitative approach. Dr. Eduard Kanterewicz presented a poster at the congress of SEIOMM 2018 held in Granada from 7 to 9 November 2018 a poster titled "The low values of tbs in women with diabetes mellitus type 2 associate to a fierder metabolic control".
