The research line in Clinical research on prevalent community diseases at the TR2Lab, directed by Ph.D. Joan Carles Trullàs, is focused on the study of prevalent diseases in the community, especially cardiovascular diseases such as heart failure, but the scope is wide and covers other types of pathologies, including acute and chronic diseases whether in-hospital or outpatient settings (for example: fracture femur, diabetes mellitus, etc.). Most of the projects are clinical and epidemiological studies, but in the future the objective is to collaborate with other lines of research within the group to carry out basic research studies.
