Mariola Cano Sanchez, who is doing her doctoral thesis under the co-supervision of Ph.D. Marta Otero Viñas, attended the Journées Cicatrisations 2018, an international wound healing congress organized by the French and Francophone wound healing society (SFFPC, on its French acronym).

The Journées Cicatrisations meeting of SFFPC was first established in 1996, and in the 2018 edition it has had a great success, 3000 participants attended this meeting this January in Paris.

In this Congress, Mariola Cano Sanchez presented the oral communication: “The DOMINATE concept: an evaluation tool to guide through diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for wound healing” (1). This concept contemplates taking care of a patient with a complex wound by a multidisciplinary team.
