Joaquim Rodríguez Miralles
[title_box title=”Collaborator of the tissue repair and regeneration laboratory (tr2lab)”]is Assistant Professor of Physiotherapy Department at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (since 2000). Currently, he is a member of the Committee of Experts in Cell Therapy of the Biomet Company.
Joaquim Rodriguez has an extensive clinical experience in tissue repair and regeneration. His research focuses on the clinical application of several biological therapies (platelet rich plasma (PRP) and mesenchymal stem cells) for the treatment of pseudarthrosis, delayed in bone consolidation, osteoarthritis, and degenerative tendon pathology.
Joaquim Rodriguez was Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona (1984-2003). He was the Director of Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at Hospital Universitari de Vic and Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Science Health and Welfare at the Universitat de Vic-Universitat Central de Catalunya (2014-2016). He holds a PhD in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona (1986), Specialist in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology by the Ministry of Education and Science of Spain (1994), and Degree in Medicine Specialist Physical Education and Sport by the University of Barcelona (1990).
