Last May 9, Ph.D. Joan Enric Torra, a member of TR2Lab’s line of “Innovation in wound healing research”, made a trip to Chile, where he carried out a series of activities related to the treatment and healing of wounds. He started at Finis Terrare University in Santiago de Chile, to record an “online wound diploma course.”

His journey continued at the Hospital Posta in Santiago de Chile. He was well received by the team and gave an information session on the importance of tackling Biofilm with the plastic surgery service. The next day, Ph.D. Joan gave a talk on “Preventing Pressure Wounds. What can I learn from the pandemic?” Also at the Posta Hospital in Santiago de Chile. Joan went to the BUPA clinic to end this trip, where a video conference could be followed live in connection with other centers.
