We are so proud that Irene Garcia, TR2Lab member during this academic year, successfully defended her final degree thesis on June 4th.

Irene García developed her Final Thesis Degree project “Setting up of an in vitro angiogenesis model to study platelet-rich plasma effect on tissue regeneration” in the TR2Lab under the supervision of Ph.D. Elisabet Sarri. In her final degree project, she has been working on vascular endothelial cell models to test the effectiveness of platelet-rich plasma in stimulating angiogenesis in vitro

During this academic year, Irene has been developing her project working in the research line of “Mechanisms of tissue repair and regeneration” and he also collaborated in the high school program of TR2Lab doing a scientific workshop to promote scientific vocations.
