Marta Otero, present at two international conferences.

Professor Marta Otero, who is doing a mobility at Boston University School of Medicine, in early May attended two international conferences (the Wound Healing Society 27th Annual Meeting and 2015 Annual Meeting Society for Investigative Dermatoloty). These annual conferences bring together more than 2,000 researchers from basic and clinical research that interact with healthcare professionals to discuss the latest developments in the field of interdisciplinary research on cutaneous wound healing.
During the congress of the Wound Healing Society, which was held in San Antonio (Texas), PhD. Otero presented the poster: Hydrosurgery as an efficient debridement method in a clinical wound united. This research project was linked to the thesis that PhD. Otero supervises to the Marta Ferrer from the University Hospital of Santa Cruz de Vic. At the Congress of the Society for Investigative Dermatoloty, which was held in Atlanta (Georgia), PhD. Otero presented the poster Dermal fibroblasts derived from human Venous ulcers show a high migratory and proliferative activity in vitro, and was co-author of another paper presented at this conference: Topical application of mesenchymal stem cells accelerated healing of wounds in a mouse model scleroderma.
