The TR2Lab offers a second edition of the workshop on experimental biomedicine addressed to high school students.

The research methodologies in the field of experimental sciences and, in particular, of biomedicine are constantly changing these days. This makes difficult for the high schools to perform experimental activities with the newly developed technologies, because it requires high economic expenses and a constant up-to-date of the staff.

We aim to expand the experimental training of the biosciences students in connection with the high school curricula by transferring scientific knowledge from the UVic-UCC to the Catalan society.

We are convinced that the commitment to research and innovation as a future value for a country requires early trained citizens in experimental disciplines, as well as a coherent coordination of these disciplines along the different stages of education.

This activity is hosted by the TR2Lab and BEM, two research groups of the UVic-UCC, within the U-Divulga program of activities funded by the FECYT-MINECO and UVic-UCC. More information.
