Helena Sureda and Marta Ferrer, TR2Lab members, attended the ceremony of delivery of grants of the “Pla Estratègic de Recerca i Innovació en Salut (PERIS) 2016-2020”

Sureda and Ferrer, both nurses at the University Hospital of the Santa Creu de Vic, have received a grant in the first edition of the PERIS of the Catalan Government.

The grant obtained for Helena Sureda has the purpose of developing a clinical validation of a new high-resolution digital system to measure and follow the wound healing process.

The grant obtained for Marta Ferrer has the purpose of establishing a coordination between a clinical unit of wounds and the regional basic health areas for improving the effectiveness for the early detection of wound complex cases, reduce the healing time and ensure a continuity assistance of the patient.
